Mobile Coverage Only Telstra’s NextG network works in and around Adaminaby and the Selwyn snow fields. If you’re on another network, don’t expect service. Mobile phone recharge and internet recharges can be purchased at The Adaminaby general store.

Internet The Adaminaby supermarket, located in the main street, has internet access through a public computer, and sells Telstra wireless internet products. Countrytell also have plans available (see www.countrytell.com.au) and are setting up wifi in the town centre- ask around to see if this is up and running.

Shopping Most shops – the bakery, cafes, and grocery store inclusive – close at 5:30pm. Make sure you do your shopping before the sun goes down!

 Getting Around There’s no public transport in or around Adaminaby. The only way to get to Cooma and back (without a car) is via the school bus, which leaves around 7:30am and doesn’t return until 4:30pm. If you’re planning a day trip to Cooma, be sure to find out exactly what the school bus timetable looks like and don’t miss the return bus!

There are no bank branches in Adaminaby. ATMs are located at the pub and the club.
There is also an ATM located in the Selwyn Centre.
